I am a High School graduate from Walnut Hill School of Performing Arts, which is an all girls boarding school in Natick, Massachusetts, where I majored in ballet and anthropology. I have both a General Associate degree, as well as an Associate of Applied Science from Estrella Mountain Community College in Avondale, Arizona. I graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts in history and a Master of Education Cum Laude. 


I was born and raised in Salamanca, New York on the Seneca Nation of Indians Allegany Reservation.  I taught at a Catholic school for 4 years. I was an Arizona State tutor at a homeless school. I worked for Rio Salado Community College at Perryville Prison for 2 years. I then worked as a substitute teacher K-12 in Salamanca, N.Y before coming to Sanders.
